Marine Science
College or University: University of Mobile
Type of degree: Minor
Brief overview of program: The University of Mobile offers a major and a minor in Marine Science. UM is a member of the Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium, a statewide group of 22 colleges and universities that use the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL) as their marine science education facility (not a degree-granting institution).
The University of Mobile offers the proven benefits of small class sizes, personalized instruction, and direct contact with faculty focused on teaching. Yet as a member of the consortium, UM offers the resources and education and research opportunities normally possible only in larger programs.
Come and reap the benefits of both for your education!
