College or University: University of South Florida

Type of degree: Ph.D.

Brief overview of program: The College of Marine Science (CMS) ) (http://www.marine.usf.edu) at the University of South Florida (USF)is a comprehensive graduate research program whose excellent faculty and outstanding graduate students, at both the MS and PhD levels, interact together to solve complex scientific problems in all oceanographic environments. CMS is a strong interdisciplinary group that transcends the traditional oceanographic fields using the latest technologies much of which is developed within our own program.
