Brief overview of program: The mission of the Master of Science in Coastal and Watershed Science & Policy program is to build a community of professionals who can employ sound science, technology, and economics to produce, evaluate, and implement environmental decisions affecting the natural and managed systems of the coastal zone extending from watersheds to the continental slope.

Coastal and Watershed Science & Policy prepares you for a wide array of careers in science, resource management, and environmental policy. According to a recent survey of regional employers, this master's degree could launch you into a career with federal, state, and local resource management agencies, nonprofit environmental organizations, county and local planning agencies, scientific and environmental consulting firms, and other businesses.

Student Support: Financial aid at CSUMB consists of grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. Funds come from a variety of sources, including federal, state, and private organizations and the university itself. With the exception of scholarships, all financial aid awards are based on financial need as determined by federal and state formulas.
